Summary

The CQC is currently using a Transitional Monitoring Approach (TMA) to see how well practices are delivering safe care during the pandemic. Remote inspections are currently the CQC’s preferred method of assessing whether practices are meeting the fundamental standards during the pandemic. Preparation for inspection should involve demonstrating how the practice's performance against each of the CQC’s key lines of enquiry (KLOEs) can be measured.
