We cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond to what happens to us. It is important to understand the physical and emotional impact of change, and that it a process. It is important to be able to identify the symptoms of stress in yourself and others and to find ways to help you to manage it. Get as much information as you can about any imminent change, ask questions to find out more if necessary.
