Skills and attributes of the patient liaison lead should include: excellent communication skills; calm personality; professionalism; empathy with patients; cope well with pressure; good organization skills; work as part of a team; show leadership skills towards other staff members. The patient liaison lead will need to interact with other practice staff to help practice harmony and efficiency, including: clinicians; nurses; receptionist; and other sub lead roles.
